Pete King Appointed as President of the New Hampshire Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies

Pete King, P.E., LSP, LEP (New Hampshire) was recently elected for a two-year term as President of the New Hampshire Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC-NH). ACEC's mission is to improve the business of engineering through government advocacy, political action, and business education.

Pete has been involved with ACEC-NH for over 15 years, including six years on the Board of Directors, and has served on several committees, including Membership, Programs and Events, and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) Consultant Quality Initiative Committee. He is also a past president of the New Hampshire Society of Professional Engineers (NHSPE).

Pete is a Registered Professional Engineer in five states, including New Hampshire, as well as a Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts and a Licensed Environmental Professional in Connecticut, allowing him to make environmental cleanup decisions on behalf of his clients.

He has over 30 years of environmental engineering experience in a variety of regulatory settings including federal, state, and international. He has also served as a testifying expert on cases involving historical site contamination and remediation.
