Geosyntec Congratulates NTE Energy on Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Commemorate Commercial Operation of the Kings Mountain Energy Center

The Kings Mountain Energy Center Project involved Geosyntec's environmental and engineering services to support the construction of NTE Energy's new 475 MW combined cycle power generation station located on an undeveloped parcel near the Town of Kings Mountain, North Carolina.

Geosyntec provided a broad range of environmental consulting and permitting services, including environmental due diligence, natural resources assessments, wetlands delineations and jurisdictional determination, State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) coordination, and air permitting support.

Don Goebel is the NTE Client Lead. He is a Senior Principal based in Tennessee with more than 28 years of experience focused on sales, marketing, business development, and senior level executive sales management.

Thomas Bristol served as the Project Manager. Thomas is a Principal Scientist based in South Carolina with more than 18 years of experience in environmental consulting focused in the areas of environmental regulatory compliance; ecology and natural resources, and environmental assessment. He is a senior leader in Geosyntec's Natural Gas practice group.
