Geosyntec Participation
Session: Cost Effective Organics Collection and Processing Out in the Country
Moderator: Marc Rogoff
Panelist: Sean O'Donnell
Session Description: How can you drive success in your food waste collection programs? A well implemented food waste collection program will ensure high participation and capture rates. A high capture food waste collection program can reduce trash collection requirements, which delivers two benefits:
- Real cost savings
- Greater recognition by households of the amount of food that they waste
Together we will consider what it takes to design, roll out and continuously deliver a food waste collection system that maximizes participation and achieves high capture rates. We will also discuss the cost benefits of doing so.
