Marc Rogoff to Moderate Panel Discussion on the Chinese Waste Import Ban at 2018 SWANA Florida Summer Conference
Marc Rogoff, Ph.D. (Florida) will moderate a panel discussion entitled "The Chinese Import Ban - Impact on Florida: A Panel Discussion" at the 2018 Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) Florida Summer Conference at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on July 16, 2018.

Marc is a Senior Consultant based in Florida with more than 38 years of professional experience focused on solid waste management, including waste collection studies, facility feasibility assessments, facility site selection, property acquisition, environmental permitting, operation plan development, solid waste facility benchmarking, ordinance development, solid waste plans, financial assessments, rate studies/audits, development of construction procurement documents, bid and RFP evaluation, contract negotiation, and bond financings.
The 2018 SWANA Florida Summer Conference will include general sessions on best practices in the solid waste management profession, discussions on the latest developments in the solid waste industry, including a tour of the Solid Waste Authority's renowned facilities. Additionally, industry suppliers and service providers will showcase their products and services.
SWANA serves public and private sector solid waste management professionals and is the largest member-based solid waste association in the world with 45 chapters in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean, and more than 10,000 members. The SWANA Florida Sunshine Chapter was founded in 1978 with seven members and today serves more than 600 members statewide.
