Geosyntec to Attend American Bar Association's 36th Water Law Conference
Geosyntec staff will attend the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Environmental, Energy, and Resources (SEER) Law 36th Water Law Conference in Orlando, Florida on April 16-18, 2018.
Geosyntec attendees are Nandra Weeks, Mark Ellard, Jill Johnson, and Jamey Rosen. Geosyntec is also an Annual Sponsor of the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources and will also be hosting a client appreciation dinner.
Nandra Weeks is a Senior Principal Environmental Engineer based in Florida with more than 20 years of professional experience focused on the engineering and remediation issues associated with environmentally-impaired property redevelopment.
Mark Ellard is a Senior Principal Water Resources and Environmental Engineer based in Florida with more than 25 years of experience in diverse watershed management, water quality assessment, and stormwater design projects.
Jill Johnson is a Principal Hydrogeologist based in Florida with more than 17 years of experience focused on a wide range of environmental projects, including groundwater monitoring and reporting, contamination assessments, remedial evaluation and implementation, and environmental planning and compliance.
Jamey Rosen is a Senior Principal Geoscientist based in Ontario with more than 20 years of experience focused on information management system design and development and geographic information systems (GIS). Jamey has developed systems to validate, manage, analyze and visualize construction, geotechnical, and environmental data for projects and facilities in the United States and Canada.
Continuing legal education (CLE) programming covers recent developments in water law. Topics will include ethics in water law, federal reserved water rights in groundwater, developments in endangered species law, instream flows, and water reuse. Additionally, there will be a discussion of the federal government's role in interstate water disputes. Panelists will discuss these topics and more while providing insights into water law developments and trends.
SEER's mission is to be the premier forum for lawyers working in areas related to the environment, natural resources, and energy. The Section is committed to providing members with opportunities to enhance professional skills, stay on top of developments, and to participate in dialogue in these substantive areas. It represents more than 10,000 members with a wide range of professional interests.
