Jamey Rosen (Ontario) was recently tapped for insight on current advancements in geospatial database technology and geographic information systems (GIS) for the "Underground Today III, Digging Deeper" section of the Engineering News-Record Magazine October 9 edition.

In the section titled "Deep Foundation Advancements," Jamey highlights how Geosyntec teams use advanced geospatial database technology and geographic information systems in two- and three-dimensions, resulting in significant savings of time, staff, and money on projects by providing real-time data and informative views of excavations. The technology is currently supporting the rehabilitation of the Chickamauga Lock Excavation, a United States Army Corps of Engineer project in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Jamey Rosen is a Principal Geoscientist based in Ontario with more than 20 years of experience focused on information management system design and development and geographic information systems.
