Andrea Braga (Massachusetts) is featured in an article entitled "How to Avoid Construction Site Compliance Violations: An IECA Conference Preview," in Environmental Connection magazine from the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) in the September/October 2017 issue.

Andrea provided an interview and a preview of her presentation for the upcoming 2018 IECA Annual Conference in February in Long Beach, California. Her presentation is for engineers and contractors who want to keep water resources clean.

The goal of her presentation is to help others avoid the mistakes that lead to regulatory fines and enforcement. According to Andrea, one of the most common (and easiest to mitigate!) regulatory compliance issues at large construction sites is not keeping current permit-required documentation such as progress maps and regular stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) inspection reports that need to be kept on site. Attendees can expect photos and examples based on her experience.
