Geosyntec’s Denver Branch Recognized for Outstanding Environmental Achievements

Geosyntec"s Denver branch was recognized for environmental leadership by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment at the 18th annual Environmental Leadership Awards at the Infinity Event Center in Glendale, Colorado on October 4, 2017.

The Denver branch was recognized for maintaining membership in this program at the gold level for nine years. Gold Leaders must have in place a fully operational, facility-specific Environmental Management System, with goals. They must meet the beyond-compliance requirements for the Gold Tier and have no serious violations for three years. According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, "the awards recognize Colorado organizations with gold, silver and bronze designations for voluntarily going beyond compliance with state and federal regulations and for their commitment to continual environmental improvement."

Megan Stokes and Suzanne Gabriele (Colorado) were in attendance at the awards ceremony.

The Environmental Leadership Awards are part of the Environmental Leadership Program (ELP), Colorado's statewide environmental recognition and reward program which offers benefits and incentives to members that voluntarily go beyond compliance with state and federal regulations and are committed to continual environmental improvement.
