Eric Stiffler Elected Vice Chair of the AEG Texas Chapter

Eric Stiffler (Texas) has been elected Vice Chair of the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) Texas Chapter for 2017-2019.

Eric is a professional geologist and certified emergency medical technician who has eight years of consulting experience managing and performing due diligence assessments, site investigations, remedial implementations, environmental compliance oversight, and geohazard investigations in varying geologic conditions at facilities for multiple private industrial clients. He has performed work on several projects that were regulated under Local, State, and Federal agencies. Eric routinely: performs environmental site assessments, provides oversight of the drilling and installation of monitoring wells via auger, air rotary, mud rotary, and sonic methods; provides oversight of geotechnical drilling and sampling including standard penetration tests (SPT), Shelby tube collection, drop cone penetrometer testing (DCPT), cone penetrometer testing (CPT), surface and downhole seismic surveys, and electrical resistivity surveys; performs aquifer characterization tests; performs low-flow groundwater sampling; performs direct push technology (DPT) water and soil sampling; conducts SWPPP inspections; provides environmental construction oversight; performs FERC construction oversight; performs data analysis; performs fault monitoring movement surveys; and assists in writing proposals, work plans, and reports. In addition to consulting services, Eric serves at the health and safety coordinator of the Houston office.
