Geosyntec to Present at the Younger Member Group of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section

Scott Luettich (Maine), Nick Yafrate, and Michael Paonessa (Massachusetts) will be conducting upcoming presentations to the Younger Member Group of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section (BSCES).

The goal of the presentations is to provide the Younger Member Group a training ground to develop future leaders of BSCES, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the civil engineering profession as a whole.

Scott's presentation is entitled "Elevated Temperatures in Landfills" and it will be delivered to engineering students at Northeastern University in Boston on April 5, 2017. Next, Scott and Nick will co-present "Elevated Temperatures in Landfills" and it will be delivered to engineering students at Merrimack College in North Andover on April 18, 2017. Finally, Michael's presentation is entitled "Landfill CQA" and it will be delivered to engineering students at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester on a date to be announced.

The mission of the Younger Member Group is to foster professional growth, ethical awareness, and technical competence of BSCES's younger members. The group organizes and encourages community outreach, outreach to local engineering colleges and universities, and encourages membership and participation in ASCE and BSCES committees, technical groups and other activities.
