NASA Presents Silver Dollar Award to Geosyntec Team at Kennedy Space Center

Geosyntec's Eric Sager and Alex Warzinski (Florida) were honored with NASA Silver Dollar Awards at the John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. The awards were presented by the environmental division chief Denise Thaller during a surprise ceremony on February 16, 2017.

Geosyntec and our subcontractor (FECC, Inc.) received this award for overcoming a large number of logistical and scheduling challenges to successfully fast-track a soil remediation project in the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) Utility Annex area to enable contractors to complete upgrades in the area with no impact to schedule. While Eric (Project Manager) and Alex (On-site Engineer) received this award, our achievements on this project and all of our projects with NASA can be contributed to the collaborative effort of our entire NASA team. We learn from each other by sharing information, responsibilities, and putting our client first.

This award continues Geosyntec's track record of success in Florida and for NASA at Kennedy Space Center (NASA-KSC). Geosyntec has provided NASA-KSC with high-quality environmental remediation services since 1995.  During this time, we have successfully managed over 80 delivery orders under three separate Basic Ordering Agreements and our current IDIQ contract. We have the technical qualifications and experience to provide a full range of services and have done so at over 50 different facilities located on NASA-KSC.
