Rula Deeb to Present in PFAS Webinar for Society of American Military Engineers

Rula Deeb (California) will deliver a presentation on the Development and Testing of an Analytical Method for Real Time Measurements of polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in a webinar hosted by the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) on February 1, 2017.

Focused on educating remediation practitioners, this webinar will outline the latest developments and current efforts to detect, measure, and remove this emerging contaminant from the environment. Presentations will address new developments in field screening methods; sources, transport mechanisms and pathways; best practices in sampling and analysis; and a new ex-situ treatment option for PFAS. Other speakers will include representatives from DoD and private industry.

  • Gain an understanding on fate and transport of PFAS compounds from an experienced expert
