Geosyntec at the 2017 Gas Storage Outlook Conference

Anica Haynes and Mike Mckibben will attend the 15th Annual Gas Storage Outlook Conference at the Omni Houston Hotel in Houston, Texas on January 12-13, 2017.

The conference features gas storage experts discussing liquefied natural gas (LNG), gas-electric integration, the outlook of Mexico's gas storage needs, and additional demand drivers. Gas storage developers, investors, end-users, and thought leaders will be in attendance.

Anica Haynes is a Senior Environmental Engineer based in Louisiana with more than 15 years of experience providing diverse technical and project management consulting services in the chemical, energy infrastructure, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. Anica has extensive experience throughout the entire lifecycle of a wide range of large capital projects including multi-state natural gas pipeline projects, crude and natural gas salt dome storage facilities, onshore and offshore depleted reservoir natural gas storage facilities, and an electric generating and transmission project in Africa. Her considerable repertoire of skills includes advising on capital projects scheduling and budgeting; developing permit and mitigation strategies; preparing environmental impact assessments; permitting with federal, state, and local environmental agencies; preparing environmental plans; conducting site selection and alternatives analysis; and ensuring environmental compliance during construction, maintenance, and operation activities.

Anica helps her clients navigate the complex and overlapping framework of regulations promulgated via NEPA, FERC, and USACE, as well as numerous state environmental and natural resource agencies, federal and state regulatory agency liaison and negotiations, coastal zone and scenic rivers permits, and Title V air permit applications. She has worked extensively with publically-traded oil and gas companies, private equity investors, and development teams.

Michael McKibben, P.G., is a senior principal with Geosyntec based in Georgia with more than 30 years of experience in successful project, program and organizational management. He has strong leadership and team building experience in development of people and client programs, as well as leading client-focused businesses specializing in HS&E compliance, remediation, investigation, and corrective action planning.

Mike works at Geosyntec's Corporate Enterprise Center in Atlanta where he leads several initiatives for the company including Geosyntec's key client development programs, business development infrastructure, client sector initiatives, and strategic business planning. He also manages Geosyntec's Oil and Gas Sector business line drawing upon his early career experience in drilling over 150 oil and gas wells in Texas, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and New York.
