Derek Tomlinson Presenting at Seminar on Pennsylvania Vapor Intrusion Guidance Updates

Derek Tomlinson (Pennsylvania) will present on "Vapor Intrusion Investigation Best Practices" as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) Vapor Intrusion Guidance Updates, Impacts & Considerations seminar hosted by Alpha Analytical Laboratories at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

PADEP has revised the Land Recycling Program Technical Guidance Manual (TGM) for Vapor Intrusion into Buildings from Groundwater and Soil under Act 2, to assist remediation professionals in satisfying the requirements of the state's PA Act 2 and regulations in Pennsylvania Code Chapter 250 Rule Amendments (published final on 27 August 2016). The revised PADEP TGM for vapor intrusion will take effect 60-days after the guidance is published.

The seminar will provide practitioners with a practical understanding of the new regulatory framework, best practices for conducting vapor intrusion investigations, field sampling techniques, laboratory analytical and data quality requirements, and legal ramifications of the new PADEP guidance.
