Nancy Bice Appointed to Berkeley Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Council
Nancy Bice (California) was appointed to the University of California, Berkeley Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Advisory Council on October 7, 2016.
Nancy occupies a position formerly held by Rudy Bonaparte. She manages Geosyntec's San Francisco Bay Area operations, has served on the firm's Board of Directors, and is the firm's Diversity Leader. She is also an actively practicing Engineering Geologist, bringing clients more than 35 years of experience in the environmental remediation field.
The CEE Advisory Council is a committee of professional engineers, business leaders, academic and higher education leaders, and government and policy officials. The Council's members are chosen based on their contribution to a robust, dynamic, civil and environmental engineering profession, who understand the important role of engineering education and research for addressing societal problems, and who support the mission of the University of California, Berkeley.
CEE Advisory Council members are strongly committed to enhancing the strengths of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Berkeley so that it continues to be one of the best research and educational programs in the world.
