Webinar Series based on CL:AIRE’s Illustrated Handbook of LNAPL Transport and Fate in the Subsurface Now Available

Geosyntec’s Gary Wealthall, Ph.D. (Ontario), and Derek Tomlinson, P.E., P.Eng., BCEE (Pennsylvania), contributed to the creation of a series of webinars based on the LNAPL illustrated handbook. The LNAPL illustrated handbook presents best-practice guidance for the assessment and remediation of light non-aqueous phase liquids (LNAPLs) in the subsurface.

The 7 section webinar series presents best-practice guidance for the assessment and remediation of light non-aqueous phase liquids (LNAPLs) in the subsurface.  The production of the LNAPL illustrated handbook was funded by Shell Global Solutions (UK), supported by the Environment Agency and coordinated by CL:AIRE.

Contaminated Land:  Applications in Real Environments (CL:AIRE) is an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of, and confidence in, practical and sustainable remediation technologies in the United Kingdom.  Geosyntec practitioners were contributing authors to CL:AIRE's document entitled “Illustrated Handbook of LNAPL Transport and Fate in the Subsurface”, released 18 December 2014 (LNAPL illustrated handbook).
