Geosyntec Employees Will Lead Sampling Training Workshop

Olga Stewart (Alaska) and Patrick Medland (Colorado) will lead a two-day environmental sampling training course for Alaska's State and Tribal Response Program (STRP) in Anchorage, Alaska on April 26-26, 2016.

The attendees will learn the scientific foundation of representative environmental sampling through classroom and field instruction. After completing the two-day course, attendees will have met the new Alaska regulatory requirements for qualified sampling technicians which will provide sufficient knowledge to begin sampling soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water under the supervision of a qualified environmental professional. The attendees will be able use their new skills to support environmental response and assessment activities in remote, rural areas of Alaska.
