Geosyntec Active at Southern Gas Association Conference in Savannah, Georgia
David Vance (Senior Scientist – Kennesaw, Georgia) will be part of the hosts leading a tour of the Elba Island Salt Marsh Restoration Project at the Southern Gas Association's (SGA) Technical Conference on Environmental Permitting and Construction in Savannah, Georgia.
The tour is scheduled for Tuesday, February 2nd from 8:00 to 11:00 AM EST. Geosyntec was responsible for the salt marsh mitigation at Elba Island, a project selected as one of Georgia's five State Award Winners for the 2016 Engineering Excellence Awards.
Also part of the SGA's conference, Brandon Mogan, P.E. (Senior Engineer – Columbia, South Carolina) will be co-presenting the "Technology Advancements: UAVs/Drones" session; scheduled for Thursday, February 4th at 9:10 AM EST. Brandon has been Geosyntec's lead in developing UAV/drone application systems for remote sensing, photogrammetry, and thermal imaging.
Also representing Geosyntec at the SGA Conference, will be Thom Bristol (Senior Scientist – Columbia, South Carolina) and Spencer Varnado (Scientist – Baton Rouge, Louisiana).
The SGA Technical Conference on Environmental Permitting & Construction is designed to provide professionals in the pipeline design and construction industry a better understanding of the requirements associated with permitting complex projects and ensuring they are constructed per the federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
