Philip Reidy Presents at Malaysia Industrial Waste Management Conference on Business Response to Evolving Environmental Regulations

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Philip Reidy of Geosyntec’s Malaysia office presented on the evolution of environmental regulations in Malaysia and their impacts to businesses at the Industrial Waste Management Conference 2015 in Kuala Lumpur on 4 November 2015.

Entitled “Contaminated Land Management in Malaysia: Lessons Learned from the West”, the presentation reviewed the evolution of environmental regulations in the U.S. and EU as a proxy to what could evolve in Malaysia, the impacts to businesses and responses by businesses to this evolution, and how companies can anticipate and proactively adapt to a changing environmental regulatory framework in Malaysia.

The presentation attracted senior representatives from companies Sime Darby, Samsung, Panasonic, Nippon Electric, Hitachi and others.
