Philip Reidy to Present at iChemE Malaysia 2nd Regional Sustainability Seminar

Philip Reidy, P.E., a senior water resources engineer and principal consultant for Geosyntec in Malaysia will be among the speakers at iChemE’s 2nd Regional Sustainability Seminar on 24 November 2014. The seminar will be held at the Grand Millenium Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

The IChemE 2nd Regional Sustainability Seminar will be an intensive one-day seminar that brings together professionals in the relevant fields to discuss the challenges involved in the actual implementation of energy and water sustainability initiatives. The seminar will include presentations of case-studies on programs implemented across all industries with the intention to share lessons learned and practical considerations. Supported by Geosyntec Consultants Sdn. Bhd., it is the second annual seminar in the series, which focuses on water and energy efficiency and sustainability in industrial facilities.

Mr. Reidy has more than 25 years of geotechnical and stormwater management experience. His practice focus at Geosyntec is the design, construction, and technology development of innovative rainwater harvesting and stormwater management systems. His talk will cover improving water conser­vation and stormwater flow mitigation at industrial facilities with rainwater harvesting and is entitled "Greening-up Industrial Facilities With Rainwater Harvesting."
