Terence Holman Speaking at DFI/ADSC Micropile and Anchored Earth Retention Design and Construction Seminar September 15

Associate Terence Holman (Oak Brook, IL) will be speaking at this year's DFI/ADSC Micropil & Anchored Earth Retention Design and Construction Seminar on Tuesday, September 15. His presentation, titled "Minicaisson and Tiedown Design and Installation Challenges on 52nd And 53rd Streets, Manhattan," describes two case histories of minicaisson foundation and tiedown projects in the area of 52nd and 53rd Streets of the Borough of Manhattan. During his presentation, Terence will document the design and construction challenges and solutions leading to successful completion of the work for these two projects, one of which is a 60-story midrise structure. Geosyntec Consultants, through its NY-State registered firm Beech and Bonaparte Engineering, P.C., has provided specialty foundation engineering design services to Michels Foundations, the geotechnical contractor who performed the work, on these two projects.

The seminar is being held September 15-16 in Saddle Brook, New Jersey.
