Michael Bloom, Brandon Klenzendorf to Present at EPA Stormwater Quality Conference in New Orleans
Two Geosyntec practitioners will present at the 15th Annual EPA Region 6 Stormwater Quality Conference, set for June 16-21, 2013, in New Orleans.
Brandon Klenzendorf, Ph.D., P.E., CPESC, a senior water resources engineer based in Austin, will present "Real Time Control of Stormwater Management for Water Quality and Conservation," which describes two Austin-area projects that use real-time controls to enhance stormwater management.
In addition, Michael Bloom, P.E., ENV SP, CFM, BCEE, a senior water resources engineer and an Associate of the firm based in Houston, will present alongside Sheeba Thomas, Ph.D., an engineer with the San Antonio River Authority. Their platform presentation, "Can Standard Representative Stormwater Monitoring Resources be More Effectively Used?," provides a technical rationale for changing the way stormwater permit holders conduct monitoring.
Both platform presentations will be held June 18 at the New Orleans Marriott, 555 Canal Street. Conference attendees will address and discuss the various issues and challenges of managing municipal stormwater, as well as new and upcoming rules and regulations that will impact cities across the United States.
Geosyntec also will host a booth in the exhibit hall during the event.
