San Diego

Doug Baumwirt, P.G., is a geologist specializing in site characterization. He has successfully implemented effective characterization and remediation solutions at municipal solid waste facilities, commercial developments, power plants and substations, manufacturing plants, dry cleaner sites, petroleum recycling facilities, and surface mines, among others. In 2009, Doug became the project manager for services along San Diego Gas and Electric's proposed 120-mile electrical transmission corridor, the Sunrise Powerlink project. The project began with a Phase I environmental site assessment and has since grown to include a wide range of Geosyntec's services. Doug has been with Geosyntec since October 2005 and currently is a steering committee member for the firm's Environmental Management Action Group. Jamie deLemos
Senior Geochemist, Geosyntec
Boston

Jamie deLemos, Ph.D., is a geochemist who established and currently chairs Geosyntec's Metals Practice Group. She has more than 10 years of experience in the development of analytical programs that evaluate site-specific geochemical conditions. She also formulates geochemical conceptual site models that support remedial designs for contaminated sites. She provides technical support for litigation projects associated with metals fate and transport analysis, the natural occurrence of metals, and the remediation of metals and radionuclides. She also develops strategies to address site impacts associated with naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM). Contact Jamie at This email address is being protected from spambots.
