Geosyntec Announces New Associate Eric Nesbit and Raleigh Office Opening

Geosyntec Consultants announces that Eric Nesbit, P.E., has joined the 600-person consulting firm as an Associate in their new Raleigh, N.C., office. Eric's practice will focus on the implementation of advanced remedies for soil and groundwater remediation; construction services for environmental infrastructure projects; and expansion of Geosyntec's other service offerings in the mid-Atlantic states.

Prior to joining Geosyntec, Eric was a regional vice president at a consulting engineering and construction firm serving federal agencies' locations throughout the country. Before moving into the private sector, he was an officer in the U.S. Navy for six years serving as a Contracting Officer, an Environmental Director, and Deputy Resident Officer in Charge of Construction assigned to Naval facilities in the western part of the country. Eric earned a Master's degree in environmental engineering from Stanford University in 1994 and a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Duke University in 1993.
