Donna Bodine to Present on Water Quality Performance Monitoring During PNCWA Annual Conference
Donna Bodine, a senior scientist with Geosyntec based in California, will present on the topic of water quality performance monitoring at the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association's (PNCWA) 2012 Annual Conference and Exhibition, set for October 21-24 in Boise, Idaho.
Ms. Bodine will present "Water Quality Performance Monitoring of El Cerrito Green Streets" beginning at 10:30 a.m. October 24 in the Boise Centre, 850 West Front Street. Ms. Bodine worked with the San Francisco Estuary Institute on this project. Her presentation will discuss the design of bioretention areas and the logistics for and preliminary results from a performance monitoring program. Ms. Bodine offers clients 17 years of experience in stormwater management, water quality assessments for watersheds, and water resources planning. She provides comprehensive regulatory compliance assistance on stormwater National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permitting issues focusing on municipal and industrial permits. Her work has included evaluating the performance of treatment best management practices through monitoring.
The PNCWA is a member association of the Water Environment Federation, the non-profit technical and educational organization for water environment professionals active in 39 countries. Its membership includes more than 1,500 environmental, civil and chemical engineers, educators, biologists, chemists, government officials, treatment plant managers and operators, and equipment manufacturers involved in wastewater collection and treatment, stormwater management, and related fields.
