Michael Berman to Address Environmental Liability Valuation During ABA Law Summit in Austin

Michael Berman, P.E., a principal civil and environmental engineer in Geosyntec's Maryland office, is a guest speaker for a technical roundtable luncheon at the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources' 20th Annual Law Summit and Fall Meeting.

The ABA section's three-day event will be held October 10-13 at the Hilton Austin, 500 East 4th St. in Austin, Texas. Mr. Berman's presentation, "Battle-Tested Environmental Liability Valuation: Defensible Cost Estimates for Decision Makers," is set for noon on October 12.

Geosyntec is proud to be an annual sponsor of the ABA's Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources for 2012. This section presents the nation's premier forum for lawyers and other professionals working in areas related to the environment, natural resources, and the energy sector.

Mr. Berman is a recognized expert in environmental liability valuation, having conducted such analyses for thousands of sites in the context of business decision making and environmental litigation. During his roundtable presentation, Mr. Berman will explain how to develop accurate cost estimates for complex sites and site portfolios to support business and legal strategies.
