James Griffin Tapped as Treasurer of Society of American Military Engineers Post

James Griffin in Geosyntec's office near Macon, Ga., has been elected to the 2012 board for the Society of American Military Engineers , Robins Air Force Base Post. He will fill the role of treasurer.

James is a hydrogeologist with a background in geochemistry and geochemical modeling. He has been involved in numerous environmental projects covering a wide range of disciplines, including contamination assessments; traditional remediation and bioremediation projects; geohydrologic field investigations; water resource investigations; Brownfields projects; dry cleaner facility investigations; and RCRA facility investigations. He earned his M.S. in geology from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. In 2002 he received his B.S. in geology from the University of West Georgia, in Carrollton.
