Geosyntec Adds More Energy to its Gulf Coast Operations
BATON ROUGE, La. — Geosyntec Consultants welcomes Andrew Goldberg and Anica Haynes to its Baton Rouge, La., office.
Andy and Anica bring extensive experience in securing regulatory authorizations for new and existing energy facilities, including pipelines and natural gas storage facilities, electric power generation and transmission, and alternative energy facilities. They specialize in the development and comprehensive environmental permitting of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulated and non-FERC regulated natural gas storage and pipeline transmission projects. Andy and Anica provide clients with "value added service" from their understanding and knowledge of the big picture, not just the environmental portion of a project. Clients have experienced both project and business success, in part, due to their high quality and expert service from project concept through operations.
"Andy and Anica help strengthen Geosyntec's services to the energy industry and give our Baton Rouge office much broader technical capabilities," said Alex Sheffield, PE, Geosyntec Associate and Baton Rouge office manager.
Anica, who joined Geosyntec as a Senior Engineer, has 10 years of environmental consulting experience focused primarily on the permitting and compliance of energy infrastructure projects. She has managed multi-state pipeline projects as well as electric generating and transmission projects in Liberia, Africa. Anica has the permit application and construction compliance expertise necessary to ensure project compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. She has a BS in environmental engineering from Louisiana State University.
