Geosyntec Consultants Announces New Phoenix Office

PHOENIX — Geosyntec Consultants announces the opening of its new Phoenix office. Geosyntec established this location to better serve its clients based in the Phoenix area and southwestern United States, including those that have come to rely upon the firm's expertise in innovative site characterization and remedial technologies, environmental compliance and permitting, infrastructure assessment, engineering, and design; mine reclamation and litigation support.

"We were fortunate to find key personnel to assist with our rapidly growing client base in the desert southwest region. Having an office in Phoenix provides a strategic location to better serve our clients," said Sam Williams, PG, Geosyntec's managing principal.

Kirk Craig, PE, joined Geosyntec's Phoenix office as a Senior Project Engineer. For over 15 years, Kirk's engineering practice has focused on the design, construction, operation and optimization of a variety of advanced remediation technologies with proven records of performance and efficiency. He also has expertise in working with property owners and developers to mitigate the effects of subsurface vapor migration. Kirk has experience working on sites administered under CERCLA, RCRA, and Arizona's WQARF (Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund) program. His consulting clients include federal and municipal/local agencies as well as private sector entities in the pharmaceutical and petroleum markets. He is has an MS in environmental science and engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo., and is a registered Professional Engineer in Arizona and Colorado.
