MMI Engineering, part of the Geosyntec family of companies, is among the exhibiting sponsors for the 10th Global Congress on Process Safety, set for March 30 — April 2, 2014, in New Orleans.

In addition, Morgan Reed, D. Eng., a chemical engineer for MMI based in Texas, is a scheduled presenter for a special session focused on advanced technologies that reduce atmospheric emissions in the petrochemical and refining sectors.

His presentation, "Hazards Management for Building Locations through Air Dispersion Modeling," begins at 4 p.m. on April 2 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, 2 Poydras Street. Advanced registration is required.

The annual congress, presented by the Center for Chemical Process Safety and the Safety and Health Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, is an opportunity for leading process safety engineers to gather and share their thinking, strategies, and lessons learned in all aspects of the industry.
