Geosyntec Announces Availability of Whitepaper on the Stormwater Compliance Implications of EISA for Federal Facilities
Geosyntec is pleased to announce the availability of a new whitepaper on the stormwater compliance implications of the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) of 2007 Section 438. Prepared by Geosyntec's nationwide watershed and stormwater management group, the whitepaper describes the relevant issues associated with the meeting the "maximum extent technically feasible" standard set forth in the legislation for federal facilities. The whitepaper also describes how Low Impact Development (LID) strategies can be cost-effective components in meeting compliance obligations.
As companions to the whitepaper, Geosyntec has made available links to technical guidance developed by U.S. EPA to assist agencies in evaluating available technologies.
