Geosyntec Client Praises Firm for Innovative WallTracker

BOCA RATON, Fla. — The Bauer Foundation Corporation commended Geosyntec Consultants for its continuing efforts on the Herbert Hoover Dike Rehabilitation Cutoff Wall Construction Project in 2009.

Bauer, a Geosyntec client, received an "Above Average" rating in its 2009 Interim Performance Evaluation from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Jacksonville District for the development and implementation of Geosyntec's "WallTracker." WallTracker, developed by Jamey Rosen, is a GIS database management system used to track a myriad of technical data during the massive wall construction. "This is a significant accomplishment for both Bauer and Geosyntec and one our client Bauer is extremely proud of," said Geosyntec project manager Dan Schauer, PG.

In Bauer's project performance evaluation, the USACE recognized WallTracker as a "state-of-the-art computer model," which is just one more example of Geosyntec's superior client service and technical innovation in the field of geotechnical engineering and construction quality control/assurance.
