Ken Susilo Honored with the ASCE Region 9 Outstanding Civil Engineer in the Private Sector Award
Ken Susilo, PE, D.WRE, CPSWQ, ENV SP received the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Region 9 Outstanding Civil Engineer in the Private Sector award on April 3, 2020.
Ken Susilo is a Senior Principal Water Resources Engineer based in California with more than 20 years of experience focused on urban stormwater management. Ken specializes in the development of multi-benefit, environmentally-sensitive solutions to stormwater management and water conservation design and planning efforts by applying leading-edge technologies to enhance the natural and built environment.
Ken was named among the 2019 Outstanding Individual Awards and the winners were approved by the Board of Governors. Region 9 is the only ASCE geographic region that encompasses four sections (San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sacramento) in only one state, California, due to its size and the number of members (18,000+). Ken holds the unique and rare distinction of being a two-time winner of this award, having previously won it in 2006.
