Seth Kellogg Named 2026 NGWA President

Seth Kellogg, PG, was recently elected to be the 2026 President of the National Ground Water Association (NGWA) and will begin her term in December 2025 at the end of President Eric Macias’s term.

As the next NGWA President, Seth will work to address evolving industry challenges, improve public awareness of groundwater, and identify opportunities for NGWA to support members of the groundwater industry. She has served on the association’s Board of Directors for the past five years, on the Scientists and Engineers Sectional Board since 2017, and is excited to continue her work to support and strengthen the groundwater industry as president.

Though Seth will be the 75th president of the organization, she will be the first woman to serve in this role. “I’ve been involved in NGWA since 1999, and the industry has changed a lot in that time. The challenges groundwater professionals face have become more complex,” Seth says.

“What hasn’t changed is that NGWA is a group of groundwater professionals who truly support one another. I’m incredibly honored to have been selected to president-elect by my fellow board members.”

Seth is a Senior Principal Geologist based in New Jersey with more than 31 years of experience helping clients find innovative and cost-effective solutions to complex environmental challenges. A leader in evaluating and managing per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) substances, she educates regulators and industry professionals on the unique challenges of managing, characterizing, and remediating PFAS. In addition, she has advised congressional and state staff on PFAS policy.

The NGWA is a nonprofit professional society and trade association for the global groundwater industry that advocates for the responsible development, management, and use of water. Members include public and private sector groundwater scientists, engineers, water well system professionals, manufacturers, and suppliers of groundwater-related products and services.
