Ryan Duckett, PE, (Virginia) was awarded the Top 10 New Faces of Civil Engineering Professionals for 2023 award on behalf of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) during Engineers Week, February 19 through 25, 2023.

Ryan is a Senior Engineer who focuses on solid waste advisory services and integrated solid waste management with an emphasis on organics and diversion. He specializes in sustainable materials management, including planning, environmental compliance, facility feasibility and development, operations, and program financial modeling. Clients turn to Ryan for his highly integrated approach to solid waste management. With more than a decade of experience in research, engineering and design, and management consulting, he has cultivated a breadth of interdisciplinary experience for a variety of clients. His work ranges from serving as the primary contact for multifaceted environmental services contracts to developing complex pro forma models using scenario analyses to assess the implementation of new programs.

The ASCE 2023 Top 10 New Faces of Civil Engineering Professionals Award highlights the next generation of civil engineering leaders, recognizing the bold and humanitarian future of civil engineering.
