Rula Deeb to Present at ILTA 2025

Rula Deeb, PhD, BCEEM, PMP, will present “Transitioning to Fluorine Free Foams and PFAS Treatment Using Conventional and Destructive Technologies” at the International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) 2025 Conference and Trade Show.

She will speak on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. in Houston, Texas. Her co-presenters are Richard Steinberg from Kinder Morgan and Eric Foster from GEM.

Rula is a Senior Principal based in California with more than 25 years of experience focused on addressing the cross-media fate and transport of contaminants and remediating complex soil and groundwater sites impacted by nonaqueous-phase liquids. She is an internationally recognized expert on the sources, occurrences, fate and transport, and behavior of per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and other challenging environmental contaminants.

ILTA represents the liquid terminal industry by advocating for regulatory and legislative policies that support the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation of liquid terminals. The conference will provide networking and educational opportunities to members and attendees.
