Paula Hutchison and Hannah Chessell to Speak at Canadian Brownfields Association National Conference

Paula Hutchison, PEng, QPESA, QPRA, and Hannah Chessell, PGeo, QPESA, will present at the Canadian Brownfields Network (CBN) National Conference on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Burlington, Ontario.

Paula will present “Solving Challenging Brownfield Issues: Integrating Technical and Legal Perspectives” at 9:15 a.m. ET with Joanna Vince from Willms & Shier Environmental Lawyers.

Hannah will speak on the panel “Unlocking Brownfields: Planning, Environmental, and Consulting Integration for Project Success” at 10:55 a.m. ET. Her fellow panelists are Janet Bobechko and Raj Kehar from WeirFoulds LLP.

Paula is a Senior Principal Engineer based in Ontario with more than 20 years of environmental engineering experience helping clients find solutions to difficult challenges related to environmental due diligence and compliance, contaminated site management, and brownfield redevelopment.

Hannah is a Senior Professional Geoscientist based in Ontario with more than 10 years of experience focused on environmental site assessments and site characterization, soil management planning and remediation, and overall project management.

The Canadian Brownfields Association Conference brings together industry leaders, practitioners, and policymakers to share insights and advance the redevelopment of brownfield sites across the country.

CBN is a national organization that connects industry professionals to promote the sustainable redevelopment of contaminated or underused properties in Canada.
