Melissa (Missy) Setz, PE, will present “Dam Safety Instrumentation for Georgia Dams” on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. EDT at the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) Annual Conference. The event will be at the Savannah Convention Center on July 14 to 17, 2024, in Savannah, Georgia.

In addition to Missy, Geosyntec practitioners Hari Parthasarathy, PhD, PE; Shaurya Sood, PE; and Jared Eubanks, PE, will also attend and will be available at booth 634 to discuss a wide range of water-related topics, including dam safety, green infrastructure, low impact development, stormwater, PFAS treatment, and wastewater.

Missy is a Senior Engineer based in Georgia with more than 10 years of experience focused on the areas of geotechnical, civil, and dam safety engineering. She supports clients with dams, levees, and hydraulic structure needs.

Hari is a Principal Environmental Engineer based in Georgia with more than 10 years of experience focused on water chemistry and water and wastewater treatment system design and operation.

Shaurya is a Project Engineer with more than 8 years of experience conducting hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and analyses, designing green infrastructure and low impact developments, managing erosion and sediment control, and supporting stormwater permit compliance.

Jared is a Principal Engineer in Georgia with more than 16 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on site layout and grading, stormwater management, landfill design, and erosion control.

GAWP is a nonprofit dedicated to educating members, providing professional development, and promoting public policy in water resources and related environmental fields. The organization addresses wastewater treatment, water resources, stormwater management, water conservation, and utility management.
