Marc is a Senior Consultant based in Florida with more than 40 years of experience who focuses on solid waste management as a public agency manager and consultant. He has managed hundreds of projects across the United States, supporting clients with waste collection studies, facility feasibility assessments, facility site selection, property acquisition, environmental permitting, and solid-waste-facility benchmarking. In addition, he supports them with bid and RFP evaluation, contract negotiation, and bond financings. On their behalf, he also develops operation plans, ordinances, solid waste plans, financial assessments, rate studies, audits, and construction procurement documents.
The Robert L. Lawrence Distinguished Service Award is the highest accolade presented by SWANA. It recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service and contributions to the municipal solid waste management field, going above and beyond normal professional responsibilities to benefit the industry and community.
SWANA is a nonprofit organization representing more than 11,000 public and private sector professionals in North America. The organization promotes sustainable waste management through training, certification, and advocacy.
