Jenny’s session is “Centrifuge Modeling and Civil Engineering Practice,” and Christie’s session is “Solutions, Not Problems: Research-to-Practice Application.”
Geosyntec is a Gold Sponsor of the event. Jenny is a Program Committee Member.
Jenny is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Colorado who focuses on site characterization, data visualization, and numerical modeling to address geotechnical engineering challenges at dams, landfills, disposal containment facilities, and other earth structures.
Christie is a Senior Professional Seismic Hazard Analyst based in Texas with more than 10 years of experience focused on the evaluation of seismic hazards and the assessment of seismic safety for critical infrastructure projects, including dams, landfills, hospitals, and energy systems.
Geo-Congress 2026, hosted by the Geo-Institute, brings together industry leaders, researchers, and practitioners to showcase innovations, address critical challenges, and advance knowledge in geotechnical engineering through technical sessions, panel discussions, workshops, and short courses. This year’s theme is “Geo Tools, Technologies, and Techniques in an Environment of Change.”
Created by the American Society of Civil Engineering, the Geo-Institute promotes the geotechnical profession and helps members advance their careers through conferences, journals and publications, educational programs, technical committees and task forces, and leadership on emerging issues. Members include scientists, engineers, technologists, and organizations working to improve the environment, mitigate natural hazards, and construct economically engineered facilities.
