Geosyntec to Make Significant Contributions to the Illinois Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management Conference

Rishab Mahajan, PE, CFM, BCWRE; Aaron Vandermus; and Lee Hauser, PE, will present at the Illinois Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management (IAFSM) Conference.

Geosytnec’s Matt Bardol, PE, CFM, CPESC, DWRE; Rebecca Helfrich, PE; and Megan Bender, PE, CFM, will also attend the conference.

The conference will be held March 12 through 13, 2024, at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois.

Practitioners will be available at our booth in the exhibit hall to share how our expertise in urban stormwater and floodplain management helps clients manage risks, improve environmental performance, and reduce environmental liabilities.

Geosyntec is a bronze-level sponsor of the conference.

The IAFSM conference brings together professionals, researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders involved in floodplain and stormwater management. The conference provides a forum for sharing research findings, innovative strategies, and practical experiences. Topics covered often include flood-risk assessment, floodplain and stormwater management, climate-change adaptation, policy developments, and community resilience.
