Geosyntec and SiREM Contribute to the 2025 Clemson Hydrogeology Symposium

Klynt Olver, PG; Jacques Smith, PhD; and Julia Butler will present at the 2025 David S. Snipes/Clemson Hydrogeology Symposium at the Madren Conference Center in Clemson, South Carolina, on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

The event is hosted by the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Science at Clemson University. Jacques will also moderate a session.

Our practitioners will be available at a table in the Conference Center’s exhibit hall to talk with attendees.

Klynt is a Geologist based in South Carolina with experience in environmental, geologic, and geotechnical projects involving due diligence, regulatory compliance, earthworks observation, construction management and quality control, and stormwater compliance.

Jacques is a Senior Scientist at SiREM, a Geosyntec Company. He is manager of SiREM’s Knoxville laboratory and an expert in environmental laboratory testing, including next-generation sequencing, coal-combustion-residuals (CCR) waste reclamation, leaching studies, settling and dewatering, and wastewater-treatment processes.

Julia is a Senior Staff Scientist at SiREM. She offers experience focusing on environmental testing, data analytics, and groundwater remediation.

The Clemson Hydrogeology Symposium is an annual event featuring presentations by leading academics and technology providers in the field of hydrogeology. It is the largest gathering of its kind in the Southeast United States.
