Geosyntec is working with Aerojet Rocketdyne (AR) to organize, manage, and respond to the various regulatory orders for the AR Superfund site in Rancho Cordova, California. This work includes managing and tracking the groundwater monitoring programs; developing operation and maintenance programs for their extensive groundwater extraction and treatment systems; evaluating remedial effectiveness; managing the project database; and developing data querying, reporting, and interfacing tools for project stakeholders. We have developed a number of unique data collection and presentation tools as part of this effort, including tablet-based field data collection tools that integrate with the project database. The systems developed for this complex Superfund site are transferable to similar sites.
