Geosyntec engineers and scientists have a long tradition of giving back to their professions by contributing their time and energy to professional societies and organizations, university programs, and governmental agencies.

They are active in supporting the development of technical standards and guidelines and by providing input to, and peer analysis of, emerging policy, regulatory, and scientific issues. As examples, Geosyntec personnel contribute to committees and working groups organized by ASTM International, American Society of Civil Engineers, Federal Highway Administration, Water Environment Research Foundation, Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council (a consortium of state agency environmental regulators), and Electric Power Research Institute, among others. Our participation in these efforts keeps practitioners engaged with other thought leaders on the trends and technologies shaping current and future environmental and engineering issues.
