Geosyntec to Present at 40th SETAC North America Annual Meeting

Geosyntec practitioners will deliver a number of presentations at the SETAC North America 40th Annual Meeting in Toronto, Ontario on November 3-7, 2019.

Presentation topics include metals and mining; sediment; PFAS characterization and treatment; human health and ecological risk assessment; biological treatment options; sediment and water-way modeling/remediation; and passive sampling.

SETAC will celebrate 40 years of science at the SETAC North America 40th Annual Meeting in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Scientists from all sectors – academia, business, government, nonprofit, non-governmental and intergovernmental organizations – will meet and work together to find solutions for environmental challenges at regional and global scales. The theme of the meeting, "Great Together: Separate Challenges and Collective Solutions," calls upon scientists to take responsibility for the environment.

SETAC is a not-for-profit, worldwide professional organization comprised of more than 6,000 individuals and institutions in l00 countries dedicated to the study, analysis and solution of environmental problems, the management and regulation of natural resources, research and development, and environmental education. Its mission is to support the development of principles and practices for protection, enhancement and management of sustainable environmental quality and ecosystem integrity.
