Jessica Yeager, P.E., LSP (Massachusetts) has been named Vice Chair for the Ascending Professional Committee of the Environmental Business Council of New England (EBC).
Jessica is a Senior Engineer based in Massachusetts with more than nine years of professional experience focused on environmental engineering and specializing in remedial design and implementation. She has designed remedial systems for high vacuum extraction (HVE), enhanced in-situ bioremediation (EISB), Liquid Boot® sub-slab vapor intrusion mitigation, air sparging, sub-slab depressurization, soil vapor extraction (SVE), groundwater pump and treat, dual-phase extraction, zero-valent iron (ZVI) injection, and chemical oxidation injection. Her clients have included a number of Fortune 100 companies.
The EBC Ascending Professionals Committee identifies issues of concern to burgeoning environmental professionals. Issues include career and professional skills development, understanding existing and developing legislation and regulations, and networking. These issues are addressed by providing objective information from up-to-date and reliable sources including EBC member company officials, EBC committee chairs, and experts in skills development.
The EBC, a nonprofit organization, was established in 1990 by environmental and energy company executives who began meeting on a regular basis to exchange ideas and share experiences. The EBC was the first organization in the United States established to support and foster the development of the environmental industry. Its goal is to enhance business and job growth of both established and emerging environmental and energy businesses.
